The number of people injured during the clashes which erupted yesterday had increased to 84 and admitted to the Colombo National Hospital (CNH).
Hospital sources said 42 were hospitalised during the clash in the morning outside the Prime Minister’s office in Flower Road, Colombo and another 42 people were injured during clash near Parliament last night.
The hospital sources said 79 males, five females, one army personal, two police officers and two journalists were among the injured. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
