Days after the announcement that Sri Lanka had decided to deny access to the UN investigation team, the Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said yesterday it had developed extensive methodologies to deal with situations where access had been denied.

The Water Supply and Drainage Board (WSDB) announced that water supply would be interrupted in the Kelaniya, Wattala, Hendala, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe Pradehsiya Sabha areas and in the Peliyagoda, Ja-Ela, Wattala Urban Council areas including the Biyagama Export Processing Zone from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm today.
