Cardholders to enjoy holidaying Home and Away with HSBC

HSBC has introduced yet another exciting promotion that offers cardholders the convenience of purchasing daily essentials on their credit card and in-turn enjoy special home and away travel and holiday privileges, to further enhance their busy lifestyle.

The new campaign valid from 1 January to 31 March 2011 encourages cardholders to consolidate their everyday purchases on shopping, utilities, groceries, fuel and daily dining as well as all other expenditure to enjoy holiday get- a-ways, home and away.

The bank has also partnered with many merchants around the island in the above categories to offer additional benefits and savings during the New Year and all qualifying cardholders are required to perform a transaction each month at Odel, Pizza Hut, Arpico Super centres, pay for any telephone bill and fuel bill using their HSBC credit card during the promotion period.

Cardholders who spend a minimum of Rs 200,000 every month including at least one transaction each at the above merchants will receive a complimentary travel ticket when they purchase an airline ticket on economy class from Sri Lankan Airlines to Singapore, Dubai, India, Bangkok or Malaysia. Whilst, Cardholders who spend a minimum of Rs 100,000 every month including at least one transaction each at the above merchants will be entitled to a 50% savings on a double room on full board basis at Cinnamon Lodge or Chaaya Hotels and Resorts through HSBC's Cardholder Stays Free.
