Colombo, Dec. 8 (Daily Mirror) - Avishka Fernando and Shevon Daniel shone on day one against Police SC in the final of the Major Club three-day cricket tournament played at the NCC Grounds today.

Avishka made a top score of 107 while Shevon hit 56 and the duo put on an opening wicket stand of 111 runs and Avishka shared another 88 runs for the second wicket with Skipper Nipuin Dhananjaya for SSC to end day one on 250 for three when rain hampered proceedings.
