I see lot of criticisms of India but your Lord Buddha is our Indian. We gave the Sinhalese with a religion. If not for us, where you Sinhalese would have been ? No religion and nothing. So, be nice to India.

Why is there no Tamil on any of the placards? If there is English there should be Tamil too the second official language and the ancient Tamil Buddhist contributed a lot to the Buddhist heritage in the island. This is racist and openly flouting the official language act. Even if it is not it proves the so called Sinhalese Buddhists do not respect Tamils .Kandy has a large Tamil speaking population. This means nothing is geared to the Tamils but Buddhism is only for the Sinhalese and Western foreigners.

A reply to SIVA, While I agree that the placards displayed should include Tamil as well, as all Visitor will be able to read and understand better of what's displayed. This should be corrected through discussion with the authorities involved with the meditation center. Your comments are highly unwanted and on racial note. Are you trying to create another gap between the two communities by attacking on a mistake made without helping to correct same? The right thinking Tamil citizens will reject people like you. I would advise you to get to a side and mind your own business without creating problems for people in this country as we have had enough of them. If you cannot spread the word PEACE, just get lost.
