World palmyrah day celebrated

Members of Save a Life, Palmyrah producers, community members, youth, and other stakeholders take part in the World Palmyrah Day 2026 celebration. The event featured Palmyrah product exhibitions, community activities, and awareness programmes highlighting the cultural, environmental, and economic importance of the Palmyrah while promoting its sustainable use and conservation. Save a Life also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Palmyrah-based livelihoods, preserving traditional heritage, and encouraging collective efforts to protect and promote the Palmyrah for future generations.
