Phase Out Pension For New Employees Only Monday, 22 April 2024 04:03 PM
Abolish pensions for All NEW POLITICIANS AND EMPLOYEES ONLY. Those currently on the pension scheme will NOT BE AFFECTED. Increase new employee’s EPF and benefits so they will work hard to ensure a substantial amount is saved when they are young. This will lead to productivity and no more protest. If they attend any protest, ensure their pay is cut accordingly. Overall, future generations taxes will be cut as these pensions will eventually be phased out. Currently a huge amount is budgeted yearly for pension payments as previous governments did not save enough.

They look quite young pensioners ! Further the placards are not in English for foreigners to read. Is it only the Sinhala pensioners protesting? No Tamil pensioners ??
