The Rajya Osu Sala (SPC) at Union Place, Colombo, was closed today, with the employees demanding the government to pay the cost of living allowance approved by the 2024 budget. Union Bros, this move is definitely frustrating for the general public. Closing down without notice inconveniences everyone. Why not take on the Diyawannawa clan head on? Lie low; when they come to see you, give them an extra dose.

When are State employees actually working? Because, it seems that what with all these strikes, they're getting paid by the tax payers to stay at home and strike.

    Privatise this thing.

This is bad. These are people who have a job demanding the COL allowance. What about those who does no have a job and the poor who comes for alleged substandard medicine with no options? These strikers must be dismissed. it is certainly politics behind the strike.
