He has some people always around him since he helped them to earn any amount of money by issuing permits to extract sand , soil, rubble, with out considering any environmental issues.then he gave liquor permits to his cronies. So those guys with enough money is now paying back him , but majority of this country are deadly against him.

It seems PEOPLE OF SRI LANKA has to go long way to mature themselves. They are too attached to politicians who plunder public wealth. This part is not understood properly.
