Exercise Pacific Angel 2025 kicks off

Sri Lanka is hosting Exercise Pacific Angel – 2025 from 8 to 12 September 2025, marking another significant milestone in regional defence cooperation. The opening ceremony was held yesterday (8) at the Sri Lanka Air Force Base in Katunayake. The exercise brings together the United States Pacific Forces, the Royal Australian Air Force, the Japan Air Self-Defence Force, the Indian Air Force, the Maldivian National Defence Force, and the Bangladesh Air Force as key participants. Adding further depth and interoperability to the programme, both the Sri Lanka Navy and Army will also play active roles.
