‘Art of Weaving’ show held

With the aim of developing Sri Lanka’s local and traditional handloom weaving sector and expanding market access both locally and internationally, the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development, the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), and the Department of Textile Industries jointly organised the “Art of Weaving” Fashion Show and the launch of the Handloom Weaving Design Handbook. The event was held at the Sri Lanka Export Development Board auditorium under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development, Chathuranga Abeysinghe.
