CEO Marketing Warrior Awards of Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group was recently held at the Marquee, Marina Bay Sands Singapore.
This event was graced by the Chairman of SIA Peter Seah, Goh Choon Phong CEO SIA, Likhsin Lee EVP Commercial, Divisional Vice Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, and many other dignitaries of the SIA Group from across the globe.
Team SIA Sri Lanka received the ‘GRIT’ Award for Passenger and Cargo for the financial year 2021/22. This was a momentous occasion despite the multiple crises faced by the team both globally and locally. Amidst global travel restrictions, stringent Covid-19 lockdown/ lengthy curfew periods followed by the social-economic crisis in the country, Team SIA Sri Lanka was proactive and resilient.
Further affected by unprecedented challenges such as fuel shortage, prolonged power cuts and hyperinflation challenged the SIA team in conducting business as usual. However, due to their perseverance and unwavering commitment to safeguard the well-being of their customers, they were able to reassure customers of their service excellence.
Notwithstanding the myriad of trials and tribulations, SIA Sri Lanka achieved all key commercial targets for FY21/22 and revenue targets for the first two quarters of FY22/23.
In the face of intensifying geopolitical, societal and economic challenges,Singapore Airlines Sri Lanka will remain vigilant, adapt swiftly and continue to deliver with care.
