Eurocars Pvt Ltd, the authorised importer for Porsche AG vehicles in Sri Lanka and a subsidiary of IWS Holdings, has opened a new service facility at Porsche Centre Colombo to improve after-sales services for customers and support the growing number of electric and hybrid luxury vehicles in the country.
The company said the new workshop has been built according to Porsche’s global standards and is equipped to service all Porsche models currently used in Sri Lanka, including battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs).
With the opening of the new facility, Porsche owners can now obtain official servicing, genuine spare parts, software updates and warranty repairs locally without sending vehicles overseas. The investment is expected to strengthen the premium automobile service sector in Sri Lanka.
The workshop includes modern diagnostic systems, specialised service bays and equipment designed for Porsche vehicles. Servicing and repairs are carried out by factory-trained technicians, including experts trained to handle high-voltage electric vehicle systems, ensuring safety and quality standards required by the manufacturer.
The facility also supports maintenance of electric vehicle batteries and uses only approved parts and Porsche diagnostic software, allowing customers to receive the same level of service available in international Porsche centres.
Chairman of Eurocars Pvt Ltd, Arthur Senanayake, said the new workshop is an important step in developing Porsche’s presence in Sri Lanka as the global automobile industry moves towards electrified vehicles. He said the investment ensures that local customers receive international-level technical support and service.
Porsche Centre Colombo has also received international recognition after winning the Porsche Aftersales World Challenge (PACE) awards for 2024 and 2025, which are given to top-performing Porsche service centres worldwide for high standards in customer service and technical work.
The company said the new facility reflects long-term confidence in Sri Lanka’s luxury vehicle market and the increasing demand for professional after-sales support as more advanced vehicles enter the country.
The service facility is now open to all Porsche owners for routine maintenance, repairs, software updates and electric vehicle diagnostics.
