EKHO Surf Hotel, Bentota to undergo Rs.250mn refurbishment

Kandy Hotels Company PLC, a member of Galle Face Hotel Group of Companies, yesterday said it has initiated a Rs.250 million refurbishment on EKHO Surf Hotel, Bentota.
EKHO Surf Hotel, Bentota operates under Kandy Hotels Company’s fully-owned subsidiary United Hotels 
Company Limited.
“The funding of the refurbishment will be out of the available cash reserves of the group,” a stock market filing by the company said.
EKHO Surf Hotel, Bentota will be closed for refurbishment and is scheduled for reopening in November 2023.
