Rose Cooray appointed as HNB Assurance Chairperson

Rose Chandralatha Cooray has been appointed as the Non-Executive Chairperson of HNB Assurance PLC, effective from July 6, 2015, with the approval of the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka.

Cooray is a Director of Hatton National Bank PLC and was the Senior Director till October 2014. She is a retired Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka where she served for over 35 years.

She is a Director of Ceylon Guardian Investment Trust PLC, Ceylon Investment PLC, Prime Grameen Micro Finance Limited, Sithma Development (Private) Limited and HNB General Insurance Limited.
