New Lloyds, a brand which has won the hearts of many for more than 35 years, introduced their newest product, the Instant Lasagne Kotthu Hot and Spicy 80 gramme pack at the Pro Foods Pro Pack and Agbiz 2015 Exhibition held at the BMICH recently. 

The Lloyds Instant Lasagne Kotthu range presents healthy and delicious meals for the new generation, giving a new taste and a new experience to food lovers of Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan instant meal is now in the market with three varieties in the Lasagne Family, namely the Family Pack, Lovers pack and the Lasagne Instant Kotthu - Hot and Spicy.



With no added chemicals and made using ingredients which meet the highest quality, the New Lloyds Lasagne Kotthu gives the perfect taste to anyone who is looking for a quick yet delicious meal.

The main ingredient of this revolutionary product is semolina wheat, which is a nutritious flour and the pack also include three sachets, chili paste, chicken flavour and soy sauce which means it comes with all the ingredients to prepare a perfect Lasagne Kotthu. 

Founded by Samuel Subash in 1978 as “Deva Chemical Industries”, the company launched and introduced his products under the brand name Lloyd’s, starting off with Green peas, Noodles, Pappadam, Artificial Vinegar, Coconut Vinegar and Candles were among the products manufactured under the Lloyd’s name and were mainly marketed in Colombo wholesale markets before starting retail marketing in 1995, following the successful reach in the wholesale markets. 

In 2012, Rajkumar Subash, son of the company’s founder rebranded the brand name Lloyd’s as New Lloyd’s under the company Illesh Marketing, with his wife and the legal partner of Illesh Marketing, Sharmila Rajkumar.

Today there is a wide range of products under the New Lloyd’s brand, such as Noodles, Semiya, Pappadam, Ammami Pappadam, Masala Pappadam, Steam Flour, Soya Sause, Limca, Vinegar, Tomato Sause, Garlic mix Bytes and Murukku Bytes, all manufactured in a hygienic and clean environment at the company’s manufacturing plants.

The New Lloyds Lasagne Kotthu is available at all Sathosa, Keells and Arpico Supercentres.
