Mobitel celebrates World Children’s Day 2015

The national mobile service provider Mobitel hosted a massive, fun and eventful day for kids at Veals Park in Badulla recently in view of the World Children’s Day. Over 12,000 participants including hundreds of orphans were treated to an enjoyable day jam-packed with games, magic shows, clown performances and a music show to provide a full-day carnival experience.

On behalf of children throughout the country, Mobitel also released an exclusive song titled ‘Mulu Lokema Malyaayak’ sung by Umaria on the World Children’s Day. The song, which was released along with a video, is dedicated to all children and is available on mTunes under the song code – 74723000. The revenue earned from the song will be used towards the development of infrastructure for computer literacy in the country.
