Maliban’s Annual Sales and Marketing Award Ceremony

Maliban’s Annual Sales and Marketing Award Ceremony was held at the Mt. Lavinia Hotel in March. 

The event took place under the patronage of incumbent Chairman of Maliban A.G. Rathnapala. 

The persons involved in the distribution process of Maliban milk were recognized at the ceremony with gifts, certificates and trophies. The winners who secured the first place were granted a tour in Australia. A tour in Thailand was granted for the second and third places. 

The persons who are in the process of the distribution, representing all the provinces of the country, had attended the award ceremony. The winners were selected under few categories. Accordingly, M.M. Gunarathne Bandara of “National Distributors” won the award for the best distributor. Second and third places went to Anura Daaswaththa of the “Lakmali Distributors” and Kumari Wijewardena of “V.K. Enterprises”, respectively. The ceremony was attended by the Managing Director of Maliban Kumudika Fernando and other senior officers of the management. In addition, a group of dealers of Maliban milk were also present at the event. 

Maliban brings the products of the Murray Goulburn Co-operative Co. Limited which is known to be one of most outstanding processors of milk in the world to consumers in Sri Lanka. Maliban has been feted with a series of quality awards throughout its journey.
