Janashakthi group ups CDB Finance stake over 10%

Janashakthi group companies have increased their collective stake in CDB Finance PLC in excess of 10 percent.
“Our client Janashakthi Insurance PLC purchased 450, 000 shares of CDB Finance PLC within the price range of Rs.97.50-Rs.10. Subsequent to this purchase, by end of trading 06th May 2015, the Janashakthi group has a stake in excess of 10 percent in CDB Finance,” Bartleet Religare Securities told the Colombo Stock Exchange. 
As at December 31, 2014, Janashakthi group companies collectively held around 7 percent of CDB Finance.
