Airport Christmas Shopping Festival promo rewards winners

The awards ceremony in connection with the mega seasonal promotion titled ‘Airport Christmas Shopping Festival’ conducted for the 5th consecutive year by Airport & Aviation Service (Sri Lanka) Limited (AASL) during 1st December 2014 – 31st January 2015 was held on April 29th at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).
Every year this shopping festival is organized as a collective effort between concessionaires at BIA and AASL towards which both passengers and concessionaires at BIA and MRLA look forward to.
Any passenger, who makes a sales transaction of US$ 10 or more at any of the shops in the Departure/ Transit area or Arrival Duty Free Complex was entitled to enter the lucky draw, where 9 winners were given the opportunity to win the Grand prize and 8 existing prizes.
The Grand Prize this year was the brand new Cherry J3 car sponsored by Ideal Motors (Pvt.) Ltd.
Winners of the latest seasonal promotion were: Grand Prize- Brand new Cherry J3 Car - Deepesh Pradhan from Mumbai India,  Cash Prize of R 500,000 - KG Lahiru Samaranayake Sri Lankan living in Canada, Cash Prize or Rs.250,000 - Bernadine De Silva Sri Lankan living in Australia, Cash Prize of Rs.150,000 - P.M.A.A.I. Perera from Kelaniya, Cash Prize of Rs. 100,000 - Sanjeev Kumar Agarwal from India, Samsung LED 40”  TV - Sunil Jayawardena from Battaramulla, L.G. Double Door Refrigerator - G.K.G.L. Wijethilaka from Kaduwela,  Singer Laptop - Nishanthi Ratwatte from Colombo 03, and  Ariston Five Burner cooker Heb – K.P.G. Perera from Dummalasoorjya.
Adding value and colour to the event, Nations Trust Bank (NTB) partnered with American Express, and Dialog had also come on-board as other key co-sponsors of this event.
AASL Chairman Ananda Wimalasena was the Chief Guest at the awards Ceremony amidst a distinguished gathering which comprised Aravinda de Silva Deputy Chairman of Ideal Automobile (Pvt) Ltd, Sanjeewa Wijerathna ,Vice Chairman of AASL and Ruwani Dias Bandaranaike, Executive Director of AASL.
