Union Assurance recognised for excellence at TAGS Awards 2024

Union Assurance, Sri Lanka’s premier life insurer, has been honoured at the prestigious TAGS Awards 2024 for its exceptional financial reporting and unwavering commitment to transparency. 

Hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), the TAGS Awards brought together organisations from various sectors, including multinational corporations, SMEs, NPOs and NGOs, all celebrated for their excellence in financial and non-financial reporting.

The company’s integrated annual report titled ‘Architects of Protection’ was lauded for its adherence to the core principles of corporate reporting. Union Assurance earned the Bronze award from the Insurance Sector Category (gross premium above Rs.10 billion), reaffirming its leadership and dedication to excellence within the industry.
In addition, Union Assurance received certifications for Integrated Reporting and Corporate Governance Disclosure in Financial Services, further highlighting the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of transparency, accountability and governance.
