Thimark Technocreations (Pvt.) Ltd, an ISO 9001:2015-certified Sri Lankan engineering company, has secured a contract with the Kenya National Power Company (KenGen) valued at US $ 156,000, marking a significant milestone in Sri Lanka’s advanced engineering exports.

Under this project, Thimark will design, manufacture, deliver, install and commission a movable hydraulic trash rack cleaning machine named KILGHARRAH 600 for KenGen, a pioneering solution engineered to international standards. This achievement underscores Thimark’s capability to deliver world-class electro-mechanical and automated engineering solutions beyond local borders. This kind of machine was designed and manufactured in Sri Lanka for the very first time.

“Winning this project is not only a proud moment for Thimark but also a demonstration of Sri Lanka’s engineering excellence on the global stage,” said Thimark Technocreations CEO/Managing Director Tharanga Marasinghe.

Thimark began as a specialist in steel fabrication and has since grown into a diversified engineering company with expertise in industrial machinery, water sector solutions (sludge scrapers, trash cleaners, sluice gates) and automotive component manufacturing for leading assemblers such as DPMC (Bajaj), Senaro, Dyno, NWOW, Lencar and Ranomoto.
