The collaboration of Sri Lankan investors Nishantha Ranasinghe and Mathan Raj Mahalingam, who are presently domiciled in the United Kingdom joined hands with their local partner to relaunch the popular venture with Rs.50 million worth investments.
Ranasinghe said that they have added new local furniture along with the interior to make it a more eye-catching ambience. “We are now looking at opening two more BBQ stations in the South and Hill Country soon,” Ranasinghe said.

Mahalingam said the change in government and political stability being established encouraged them to invest in their motherland and invited all the Sri Lankan Diaspora living around the world to come forward and invest to uplift the local economy.
“We see positive change in the investment climate which made us firstly acquire this property and to expand regionally,” he said.
In celebrating the launch of The BBQ Station, a special food and beverage tasting session was hosted for media personalities. The evening showcased a phenomenal spread of BBQ, which also included a variety of house-special thirst quenchers.
Guests were treated to the very homely yet chic atmosphere and the ambiance of a no-frills, soulful setting that promised good times, great conversation and amazing BBQ.
