Sanasa General Insurance appoints Lahiru Jayasinghe as Chairman

Sanasa General Insurance Company PLC announced the appointment of J. A. Lahiru S. Jayasinghe as the Chairman, with effect from 14 July 2026.

Jayasinghe has been serving on the Board of Sanasa General Insurance as a Non-Executive Director since 2 May 2019, providing strategic direction and strong leadership in corporate governance, financial oversight, and organizational development. 

During his tenure, he has chaired and served on several key Board Committees, making a significant contribution to strengthening the Company’s governance framework.

Jayasinghe currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of St. Anthony’s Industries Group and is also an Executive Director of St. Anthony’s Interior Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. With over 16 years of professional experience, he has built an outstanding career across the manufacturing, agriculture, trading, service, and apparel sectors.

Jayasinghe is a graduate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM). He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK), and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA).
