Salesforce introduces Headless 360

Salesforce has introduced Salesforce Headless 360, making the Salesforce platform accessible through APIs, MCP tools and CLI commands so AI agents can act without relying on a browser.

The launch marks a major step in Salesforce’s vision for the Agentic Enterprise, where humans and agents work together across business processes, workflows and customer engagement channels.

For 25 years, using Salesforce meant working inside Salesforce. Now, Salesforce is exposing its platform capabilities so agents can securely access data, workflows and business logic from any surface, helping enterprises build, act and deliver experiences faster.

Salesforce Headless 360 introduces three key innovations: new MCP tools and coding skills that give coding agents access to the platform, a new experience layer that renders rich, native interactions across surfaces from Slack to Voice and WhatsApp and tools to help enterprises control how agents behave in production, before and after launch.

For developers, Headless 360 provides more than 60 new MCP tools and over 30 preconfigured coding skills, enabling live access to data, workflows and business logic directly from coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Windsurf.

Salesforce is also introducing Agentforce Vibes 2.0, with full org awareness, multi-model support including Claude Sonnet and GPT-5 and an AI development partner that understands the business, not only the code.

The new Agentforce Experience Layer will allow agents to deliver interactive components such as approvals, workflows, decision tiles and data layouts across Slack, mobile, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Teams and other MCP-supported clients.

Salesforce is also strengthening trust and governance through tools such as Testing Centre, Custom Scoring Evals, Agent Script, Observability, Session Tracing and A/B Testing, helping enterprises evaluate and improve agent behaviour before and after deployment.

AgentExchange will bring together 10,000 Salesforce apps, 2,600+ Slack apps and 1,000+ Agentforce agents, tools and MCP servers from partners including Google, Docusign and Notion.

Salesforce said Headless 360 brings together Data 360, Customer 360, Agentforce and Slack to provide the context, workflows, trust layer and engagement environment needed for enterprise AI adoption.
