Raja Jewellers wins Best National Industry Brand Award 2024

Raja Jewellers has been awarded as the Best National Industry Brand of the year 2024, positioning itself as the leader of the gem and jewellery industry in Sri Lanka. 

The award ceremony was held at Eagles Lakeside Convention Hall, Attidiya. The event was graced by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasooriya, Minister of Industries, Sunil Handunneththi, Deputy Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship, Chathuranga Abeysinghe, Secretary of the Ministry Thilaka Jayasundara and many entrepreneurs.

The award ceremony was organised by the Industry Development Board (IDB) in the Ministry of Industries. 

National Industry Brand Excellence Awards 2024 has been held for the first time in order to celebrate and inspire the industries that have been able to achieve and as a tribute to the outstanding performance in the respective sectors as they are the lifeline of the country’s economy despite the turbulent times.   

Athula Eliyapura, Managing Director of Raja Jewellers expressed his gratitude to the National Industry Brand Award Organisers, its panel of judges and the IDB for providing them with due recognition by acknowledging its hard work for perfection and reinforcing its dedication to customer satisfaction.” 

Additionally, Raja Jewellers is also being honoured with the Best National Industry Brand under the Large Scale (Gem and Jewellery Sector) at this prestigious National Industry Brand Awards 2024, showcasing that it is not only mere an award winning but a testament of its craftsmanship, innovation and the legacy of the jewelry industry since its establishment in 1928. 

Eliyapura also thanked Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) who were involved in the eminent panel of judges of approximately 20 professionals along with IDB for their impartiality and independence in their judgment in awarding Raja Jewellers, at this occasion.
