During the event, students who had successfully completed the very first PRO Realtor course received their certificates.

Having commenced operations in January 2025, Pro Realtors Academy created historyby becoming the pioneering institute to introduce real estate education to Sri Lanka. By obtaining the TVEC (Tertiary & Vocational Education Commission) certification, Pro Realtors Academy became the only certified institute for Real Estate education, a key milestone for the country and creating life-changing opportunities for students interested in entering the real estate sector.

Being TVEC certified is a clear declaration of the academy’s commitment to excellence, innovation and opportunity, and a testament to its mission to educate both skilled property professionals as well as visionary leaders who will shape the future of Sri Lankan Real Estate and leave a lasting legacy.

Transco Properties Director/CEO Asir Nawaz commented, “Back then, there was no structured education for real estate professionals, formal networking platforms, or training that could truly prepare our talent to compete on the local and global stage. This resulted in us building Pro Realtors Academy, not just as a place to learn, but as the first central hub for the professional real estate Mastery program in this country. Pro Realtors Academy now empowers individuals to shape the future of the real estate industry like never before.” The PRO Realtor course is a 2-month part-time course designed for anyone interested in entering the real estate industry in Sri Lanka. While the course is currently delivered in Sinhala, given the increasing demand from foreign students, the Academy is planning to introduce the course in English medium in the near future. Students who successfully complete the course can pursue an exciting career in Real Estate as real estate agents, property managers, investment advisors, or even start their own real estate ventures in Sri Lanka.
