Niluka Jayasinghe honoured for entrepreneurial excellence

Global Bookkeeping Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd Managing Director Niluka Jayasinghe has been recognised with two distinguished awards at the 2024 Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC) Prathibhabisheka Women Entrepreneur Awards. 

Niluka secured the Most Outstanding Export-Oriented Woman Entrepreneur and was also celebrated as the winner for the Bronze award in the Medium Category.

The accolades were presented at a grand ceremony held at Hilton Colombo, where the chief guest was Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasooriya. US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Julie Chung also graced the occasion as guest of honour. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of women entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the economy through their innovative and sustainable business practices. 

Niluka’s exemplary leadership and strategic vision have been pivotal in the growth and success of GBS Sri Lanka, positioning the company as a key player in the export industry.

The recognition from WCIC underscores her commitment to excellence and her role as a trailblazer in the entrepreneurial landscape.
