Lanka Business TV’s ‘Vyavasayaka’ Summit in Kalutara receives huge response

Lanka Business TV’s highly acclaimed ‘Vyavasayaka’ Business and Investment Summit was held with great success recently at the Jie Jie Beach Hotel in Panadura, with the participation of over 250 attendees, including entrepreneurs and those eager to gain economic knowledge.

Speaking at the event, Jayantha Kovilagodage, Founder and CEO of Lanka Business TV, stated that the organization, which was established with the objective of providing economic knowledge to the people of the country, has already held eight such summits in various districts across the island. He noted that the high level of public enthusiasm and participation is a clear indication of the growing interest in these initiatives.

The keynote address of the summit was delivered by Senior Psychological Counselor and Psychotherapist, Dr. Chaminda Weerasiriwardena. The Guest Lecture was delivered by Dayananda Bombuwala, Managing Director of the Wasana Bakers Group. Additionally, important presentations were also conducted by Ruwan Perera - Chief Executive Officer of NDB Wealth Management, Nirosh Ananda - Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (Sri Lanka CERT) and Rusiru Abeyasinghe - Vice President of the John Keells Group and Head of Asset Management at John Keells Properties.

Participants at the summit had the opportunity to win valuable prizes, including a chance to win a return air ticket to Malaysia and a holiday at the RIU Ahungalla Hotel. 

Lanka Business TV is already making arrangements to hold two such summits in Kandy and Kurunegala during this year.
