The India Cup Golf Tournament 2025, hosted by the Indo-Lanka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ILCCI) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Indian High Commission in Colombo and Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC), saw Kalyani Ranasinghe emerge as the winner, taking home the coveted trophy after a day filled with friendly competition and camaraderie.
Held on 24th January at RCGC, and with a remarkable turnout of over 100 participants, both gentlemen and ladies, the tournament proved to be a resounding success. Beyond the golf, the event served as an important platform for networking, bringing together Indian and Sri Lankan business leaders.
Key achievements from the day included Vish Govindasamy as the Men’s Winner, Shirani Buffin as the Ladies Runner Up, Ranjit Perera claiming the Nearest to the Pin award, and Affili Raheem and Prabath Gamage winning the Longest Drive awards for Men on Holes No. 8 and 15, respectively. Sandra Cadien won the Ladies Longest Drive award.
The event culminated in a prestigious awards ceremony and receptionhosted by Indian High Commission at the “India House.” The Acting High Commissioner Dr. Satyanjal Pandey expressed his congratulations to the ILCCI on a successful tournament of competition and fellowship, strengthening the close bond between India and Sri Lanka.
