Hayleys acquires 10.83% stake in DIMO for over Rs.1bn

Dhammika Perera-controlled Hayleys PLC has acquired a 10.83 percent stake in Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO), through a series of transactions worth over Rs.1.04 billion, according to a disclosure filed with the Colombo Stock Exchange. 

On April 7, Hayleys purchased 903,508 shares (a 9.79 percent stake), at the price of Rs.1050 per share and the remainder of shares were purchased on the following day.
