A sister company of Dubai’s One Nature group is set to invest in a 28-chalet resort in the Yala-Palatupana tourism zone, by leasing land from the government.
The Cabinet of Ministers this week approved a proposal by Tourism Development, Wildlife and Christian Religious Affairs Minister John Amaratunga to give seven acres in Palatupana, Yala, to the One Nature group, on a 50-year lease.
The leasing of the land would be based on the valuations provided by the Valuation Department. The One Nature group offers nature-based luxury boutique tourism experience and operates Nyaruswiga Safari Camp in Serengeti, Tanzania.
Another project One Nature currently working on in Tanzania is Orangi River Safari Lodge.
