CleanCo Lanka along with SLVTA holds NVQ Level 4 Certificate Award Ceremony

In a significant collaboration with the Sri Lanka Vocational Training Authority (SLVTA), CleanCo Lanka Limited recently held the NVQ Level 4 Certificate Award Ceremony at the company’s head office, celebrating the achievements of its dedicated employees. 

This event, which took place on February 8, honoured employees who successfully completed the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4 certification in Vehicle Emission Testing.

The ceremony, a testament to CleanCo Lanka’s unwavering commitment to employee development, was graced by key stakeholders from CleanCo Lanka (Pvt) Limited, the Department of Motor Traffic, and the Sri Lanka Vocational Training Authority. The event was a joyous occasion, underscoring the importance of skill development and education in fostering a highly capable and environmentally-conscious workforce.

Surendra Perera, General Manager of CleanCo Lanka (Pvt) Limited, addressed the gathering with enthusiasm, emphasizing the growing importance of emission testing in maintaining environmental standards.

The NVQ Level 4 certification for Vehicle Emission Testing Technicians is a rigorous program that trains individuals in the critical areas of vehicle emissions standards, testing procedures, and the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. This qualification ensures that technicians are well-equipped to handle the increasing demands for eco-friendly solutions in the automotive industry, contributing to cleaner air and sustainable practices in the country.

The completion of this program not only reflects the employees’ technical expertise but also positions them as key players in Sri Lanka’s efforts to reduce vehicle emissions and improve air quality. The certification empowers the technicians to play an essential role in the proper implementation of emission testing standards, helping to align with global environmental goals.
