CameraLK and Sony unveil Alpha a7R VI

CameraLK unveiled the highly anticipated Sony Alpha a7R VI and FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM OSS lens at a regional launch event held in Sri Lanka. 

The event marked a historic milestone for the country’s photography and videography industry, as Sri Lanka was chosen to host the premier regional launch of the groundbreaking new imaging technology, further cementing the nation’s growing reputation within the global creative community. 

The exclusive launch event brought together some of Sri Lanka’s leading photographers, videographers, content creators, and visual storytellers for an immersive evening celebrating creativity, innovation, and the future of imaging technology. Organized by CameraLK, the event showcased Sony’s latest advancements in camera engineering while highlighting the rapid evolution and growing potential of Sri Lanka’s creative industry.

Adding further to the occasion was the presence of a distinguished delegation from Sony Headquarters in Japan, including Koji Sekiguchi – Head of Consumer Imaging Business, Satoru Yamagiwa – Senior Camera Marketing Officer, Masaki Yamada – Product Planning Leader for the Alpha a7R VI, Tatsuru Kikuoka – Product Planning Leader for the FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM OSS, and Masakazu Yamagishi – Lens Product Engineer Specialist.
