CFA Society to navigate financial markets on February 20

CFA Society Sri Lanka announced its upcoming full-day training programme ‘Navigating Financial Markets: A Practical Approach to Money, Foreign Exchange and Bond Markets with Local Insights’, scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Galle Face Hotel, Colombo. 

This programme is designed to equip corporate executives, finance professionals, treasury professionals and investment specialists with both foundational and practical knowledge of financial markets. Covering the money market, foreign exchange (FX) market and bond market, the programme provides valuable insights into market structures, instruments, pricing, risk management and trading strategies. Whether participants have prior exposure to financial markets or are seeking an introduction, this programme will enhance their ability to navigate today’s complex financial landscape with confidence.

The training will cover key aspects such as FX trading, including SPOT, FORWARD and SWAP transactions, bond pricing and valuation techniques, primary and secondary market operations and money market instruments.
