Brandview Labels Lanka honoured as Best National Industry Brand

Finance Manager Johanne Miranda, Director Ravindi Louis and Director Chamithrika Louis receive the award

Brandview Labels Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd has been recognised as the Best National Industry Brand (Small Scale) in the Design, Packaging and Paper-Related Industry Sector, at the National Industry Brand Excellence Awards.

The award ceremony, organised by the Industrial Development Board, under the Industries Ministry, took place at Eagle’s Lakeside, Attidiya.

Brandview Labels Lanka was initially established to serve the textile and apparel industry, specialising in printed fabric labels, woven labels, care labels, hang tags, stickers and RFID solutions. From the very beginning, it faced numerous challenges, including the devastating Easter attack and global COVID-19 pandemic, which affected not just Sri Lanka but economies worldwide.

However, through unwavering dedication, resilience and the strong leadership of founder and CEO Siemon Luvi, it overcame these hardships. It adapted its business strategy, transforming challenges into opportunities.

Expanding beyond textile labels, it diversified into various industries, providing branding, identification, POS, packaging, track and trace, logistics, event management, communication solutions and more. Today, it supplies labels to businesses across multiple sectors.

Looking ahead, Brandview Labels Lanka has identified the shift towards digital product passports (DPP), which will be implemented in Central Europe by 2026. Anticipating this change, it developed a comprehensive software solution in 2023, forming strategic alliances with leading Japanese and Chinese companies to meet the DPP requirements effectively.

Its next major expansion goal is establishing a manufacturing facility in the Indian subcontinent, complementing its existing facility in Faisalabad, Pakistan.

Over the past five years, its board of directors and Sri Lankan management team have worked tirelessly, achieving short-term targets while staying focused on long-term objectives.

Luvi brings over 30 years of experience in the apparel and labelling industry. As he often emphasises, “Catering solely to the local market is not sustainable, given Sri Lanka’s population of just 22 million. To ensure long-term growth, we must expand internationally and establish a strong presence in global markets.”
