B. Singhage appointed to United Motors Lanka board

The Board of Directors of United Motors Lanka PLC, announced the appointment of  B. Singhage as an Executive Director, to the board effective January 1, 2025. 

He is a professional with over 30 years of senior management experience in the automotive industry, specializing in aftersales operations, business strategy, and customer experience. Previously he was the General Manager Technical and Spare Parts Divisions at United Motors Lanka PLC. 

Singhage is a Director of UML Heavy Equipment Ltd a subsidiary of United Motors Lankaand a former Director of the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute. He was also a Governing Council member of the Automobile Engineering Training Institute (AETI). Mr. Singhage holds an MBA, graduating with a Gold Medal from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD), UK.
