The main pharmacy outlet of the Asia Health Drug Store, which is fully dedicated to providing Oncology and Haematology related medicines for cancer patients, has been relocated to a brand-new purpose-built facility at No. 101, Kirula Road in Narahenpita recently.
This newly established pharmacy operates in its own spacious, well-designed building, conveniently located in close proximity to Asiri Hospital, Kirula Road. The facility has been designed to ensure patient comfort, safety and efficient service.
All medicines available at this outlet are directly imported from WHO-GMP and EU-GMP certified manufacturers, and are duly registered with the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA). This ensures that all products meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy and quality, as stipulated under the NMRA Act.
The medicines are offered at very affordable and reasonable prices, as they are imported directly by Tabrane Pharmaceuticals Ltd, the parent company of Asia Health Drug Store.
Medicines are handled under optimum storage conditions throughout the entire supply chain from importation and transportation to storage and dispensing. A dedicated and qualified staff ensures that patients receive their prescribed medications with complete confidence in both the product and the service.
To further support patient care, the outlet includes a private counseling room to maintain confidentiality during the medicine issuance process. A comfortable and welcoming environment has also been created for patients and accompanying family members, while they wait for prescriptions to be double-checked and dispensed.
The new pharmacy was officially opened to the public by Chairman Tabrane Group Dulip Jayawardena and Directress Samanmali Jayawarden. Consultant - Regulatory and Compliance Tabrane Pharmaceuticals Amith Perera and NMRA FDI Nevil Wikremasinghe with senior managers and well wishers were also present at the opening.
