AIA Insurance’s Healthiest Schools programme marks 100-school milestone



In commemoration of International Education Day, AIA Sri Lanka announced a remarkable milestone for the AIA Healthiest Schools programme.
With a total of 100 schools from Sri Lanka having now joined this transformative global initiative, the AIA Healthiest Schools programme encourages students to adopt healthier lifestyles and create a culture of well-being within school communities. Primary and secondary schools from across Sri Lanka are invited to participate in the programme by registering viawww.ahs.aia.com/lk.
The programme introduced three years ago by AIA Group to their markets, was launched in Sri Lanka in October 2024, with a total of US$ 100,000 allocated for the overall competition. The programme exemplifies AIA’s commitment to its purpose of enabling people to live Healthier, Longer, and Better Lives. 


With education, wellness and health deeply intertwined, the programme provides resources and support to teachers to inspire young minds to adopt lifelong positive habits that will shape their futures. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by the registered schools are a testament to the shared vision of building a healthier generation.
Aligned with the principles of International Education Day, the AIA Healthiest Schools programme underscores the essential role of education in driving sustainable development and societal well-being. By integrating practical health and wellness into the curriculum, the programme empowers schools to be catalysts for change, addressing the growing importance of health and wellness in today’s fast-paced world.
