The Supreme Court today issued an interim order preventing former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and former Minister Basil Rajapaksa from leaving the country without court's permission until July 28.

Why only until the 28th? What kind of a legal system is this? They should be prevented from leaving the country at all. If it was an ordinary citizen, is this what the court would have done?
