The mamagement of the Lotus Tower said they reached the 15,000th visitor this morning since the tower opened to the public.
The management representative said the visitor was from Melbourne, Australia and he was felicitated with a valuable gift hamper by Akbar Brothers, Sri Lanka's leading tea exporter.
The Colombo Lotus Tower has become a must-visit destination for tourists and locals alike, offering breathtaking views and an immersive experience of Sri Lankan heritage.
With a total visitor count of 861,894 to date, the Lotus Tower stands tall as a testament to the country's rich history and vibrant future.
The Lotus Tower is committed to providing an unforgettable experience for all visitors.
Ticket prices for Sri Lankans are set at Rs 500 for adults, Rs 200 for children aged between 3 and 10 years, and complimentary for children below 3 years.

The first impression you get as you head towards the city of Colombo from the Katunayaka Airport is the Lotus Tower which makes you wonder whether Sri Lanka is a Chinese colony with identical towers seen all over China.

For all visitors they must provide NIC, otherwise charge them in Dollars. Most visitors are lankans with foreign passports!! Yeah.
