She always had ambitions of entering politics and strategically chose to ride the coattails of the Aragalaya. She is not alone. Even some existing politicians (eg. SF) saw an opportunity to take a free ride on the Aragalaya band wagon in the grand hope that they may have an ascension. Too bad for them, and thanks heavens to us, they showed their true colours through it, and we can be even more cautious with them in the future.

Not only you there are many good people outside ..consider some of our good cricketers; academics and some other professionals..we have good some excellent graduates and all those people should come out to save this country from policy terrorists. They are terrorising people with their vested and they are looting public money and they are after all elected by people for people..As she said there some good people too in this parliament and there are good people in each party but they can't do anything as it stands now . because some political thugs control everything and people want a system change

Damitha you are a intellectually advanced lady and you want to give every Sri Lankan a fair go. You should be in Parliament and you should be the leader and bring together honest and equal minded persons to run a country. First of all you should tell the people what you are going to do from A to Z then only the citizens will understand what type of a leader you are going to be. Wish you luck.

Good, let her get elected to parliament and see whether she can fulfil at least 10% what she has demanded at the Aragalaya ground. She will be fortunate if she gets elected as an opposition member, then she can continue her rhetoric comfortably from her seat in the parliament same way she has done at Aragalaya. Many actors, professors, engineers, doctors and Generals have got elected to the parliament, has a single individual among them has so far done anything useful to make a change so far? Some people who cannot even manage/solve the affairs/issues of their personal life, think they can manage and solve the burning national issues.
