SL Cricket which was once pride of the nation has become an embarrassment thanks to SLC. Hon Minister of Sports: Please dissolve this corrupt and clueless SLC immediately and have fresh elections for Executive Committee under revised constitution before it ruins Sri Lankan cricket completely..

In MLB baseball the 25 member roster get paid based on how much they contribute to the success of the team!! For a instance highest RBI (Runners Batted In) guy and 20 game winner (Pitcher with most wins) get Mega bucks!!! Just to give you an idea couple of players in the same team get $20-30 Million per season whereas some players in the same team makes 2-3 million a season however they play to win the championship!! SL cricket structure must revamped from all aspects of the game!!

When Sri Lanka was playing cricket not as professionals the team really played well, in 1979 SL as associate member Beat mighty Indian team consist of Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Vengsarkaa, Viswanath, Amarnath in the world Cup!! Nowadays we have to play qualifying matches and win to play in the ODI world Cup Huh!! The Mega MONEY from playing cricket has effected the mentality of the players, I find most players have become Egocentric, yeah!! Losing is part of the game, but losing number of occasions embarassingly in short period of time not acceptable!! We've a serious issue in our hands, for starters change the pay structure based on performance!! Yeah!!

Problem is with the batting coach. SL cricket should spend more money and get a genuine batting coach who can correct weaknesses in batsman. For example players like Charith, Shanaka and Nissanka are getting out in the aame way most of the time. Also if you look at Charith, you can see he has lost form many series ago but no action taken. Also they should not have changed the Nissanka and Kusal as opening batters as they have done well recently. Also they need a player like Dimuth instead of Mathews as Dimuth is a better player in overseas conditions. Also Dasun may not be the best option as Captain for odi side. He lacks brain when changing bowlers. For example why Hasaranga keep on bowlinging in a pace friendly wicket.

SLC administration has to be replaced. The crooks are using court order to get in when Minister tries to block them. Minister did not want same old keep getting into SLC. The result of no good SLC is to have players too old still in the team. The failure with so called massive experience of Matthews show the utter wrong thinking. Previous coach would never allow old men to play, making unfit players unhappy. The new one too scared of corrupt SLC to make good selections.
