AG concludes action in respect of 19,091 criminal cases

Attorney General Dappula de Livera has concluded action in respect of 19,091 criminal cases from January 2019 to May 2020 and forwarded 10,785 indictments to the High Court, Coordinating Officer to the AG, State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said.

Does any of those criminal cases pertains to the high profile politicians and business people. Or just the poor citizens who committed petty offenses.
