We support peaceful protests. But don't be violent, if so our genuine protest will be diluted

guys, with these actions SL will be ruined. Just imagine what happened in 71, 83 and 88. Country suffered a lot. Riots won’t bring anything. This government alone can’t do this what’s happening today. The policies after 77 led to this. In 2018 then Central bank governor under Yahapalanaya said this. But COVID fast tracked the inevitable and it’s happening right now. If a new lot comes, do you think we will get dollars and new power plants? Sampur power plant was stopped by MS and Yahapalanaya. That 400 MW would have solved this problem. Even he is kids have faults, MR cleared all objections and make Coal power plant and upper Kotmale power plant. Otherwise this would have come much earlier. Every 3 or 4 years, you need to add more Mw power to the grid as demand grows.
