15 cops injured on Friday

Fifteen policemen including three senior police officers were injured on Friday during a UNP led protest in Fort, Police spokesman Ajith Rohana said.
 
He said that they are currently receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital following injuries they sustained after they were pelted with stones by the protesters. (SD)

    Why they did they intervene main opposition party lead peaceful protest?
    So far the opposition party didn't make any troubles while making protests. But we see police supporting Government lead protests (Fun thing- the culprits complaining).
