Two persons drowned in the Minneriya Tank a short while ago, the Police said. The two victims, a private bus driver and a conductor had taken a group of passengers from Homagama on a trip to Anuradhapura , and had stopped to bathe in the Minneriya Tank when the tragedy struck.
