Over 40 arrested in Walana STF raid on massage centres

Colombo, June 19 (Daily Mirror) - A total of 43 individuals have been arrested following a series of raids carried out by the Walana Central Anti-Vice Strike Force on massage centres in the Thalawathugoda area.

Accordingly, nine establishments were targeted during the operation, which allegedly uncovered brothels operating under the guise of massage centres.

A total of 43 people, including 34 women, were taken into custody during the raids.

Investigations are continuing.
