A 52-year-old woman, who was living alone,  was found dead in her house in Yayainna, Kahawaththa early this morning, Police said.

The Police said the neighbours had informed the Police when they found the woman lying motionless in sleeping position on the floor.

A postmorterm is to be held today at the Rathnapura hospital. (Lasantha Niroshan)
