Train travels 300 metres without last compartment

A compartment with passengers detached itself from an office train travelling to Colombo from Puttalam. It happened somewhere between the Madampe and Kakkapalliya Railway Stations today.
The 10-compartment train had travelled some 300 metreswithout the compartment which detached itself.
The train continued its journey after the compartment was attached to the main section. (Jude Samantha)
